The first time I saw photos of one them my first thoughts were, who designed and styled it? Did someone really pay to get the styling done? Someone should be beaten for making it. Oh wait there are a lot of blob cars and boats out there so it must be the new trend. Not something I would wish to own that's for sure. Now an early Kenworth or Mack teardrop cabover for a cab I could see they... some of those old trucks had better styling than what we see today.

That is a Luigi Colani design from Switzerland. Mr Colani designs very strange cars, trucks, RV's and trains. No one will ever say that he lacks imagination.
True you can't say he lacks imagination. But one would think he could come up with something more elegant with his styling. What we have here is a cyclops Dart-Vader Freightliner meeting the Borg. If he had gone a little more to art deco styling he could have pulled it off very well. As it is, it doesn't flow from one into another.
You are the first!
ReplyDeleteYeah, but the thing is ugly! Teardrops are cute. of course I'm prejudiced.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I know. I did a Google search for the ugliest RV I could find and this one took the cake.
