I have seen loft beds for toddlers and small children in other teardrop trailers. The tongue weight is 160 lb and the water tank size is 6 gallons.tinyyellowteardrophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18146256337115269302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6736805201700186470.post-4938323003180726412015-04-30T07:38:39.675-07:002015-04-30T07:38:39.675-07:00This trailer looks wonderful! Our son will be traveling with us.
What is the tongue weight of the trailer?
What is the size of the water tank?
Thank you!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17569823704938328333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6736805201700186470.post-17554775650713614682013-04-17T17:03:40.956-07:002013-04-17T17:03:40.956-07:00Sorry for the previous comment gaffes. Rather than cause consternation from some readers I thought I would withdraw my previous comments and share what I learned.

First, from my neophyte perspective of Teardrop Trailers, I had never considered the idea of sitting in a trailer; I thought of them only as mobile beds with a kitchen attached. The convertible bed/couch looks a lot like a Japanese futon. My initial thought was this would sure make it easier to put a fitted sheet on the mattress.

Second. I was trying to visualize how you could star gaze through the roof window, so I went to the site and learned that the sleeping arrangement is different from traditional Tear Drops. They call it cab forward. You will sleep with your feet toward the tongue of the trailer rather than feet toward the galley, which means the trailer bulges at the back and tapers at the front. Just the reverse of other Tear Drops.

Thanks for sharing. Lots of good ideas for my build.Stephen Bunkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09717971522941648839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6736805201700186470.post-65272220684880427132013-04-06T07:14:49.989-07:002013-04-06T07:14:49.989-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Stephen Bunkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09717971522941648839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6736805201700186470.post-90720259202525065412013-04-06T06:57:42.131-07:002013-04-06T06:57:42.131-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Stephen Bunkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09717971522941648839noreply@blogger.com
